The ShootClay Cup 2014 - thank you to all involved!

We'll see you in 2015 - bookings open in January!

ShootClay Cup 2014

Congratulations to Stuart Rudling, who takes home the inaugural ShootClay Cup after shooting a stunning 115ex120, one shot clear of the overnight leader Karl Hagan who shot 114.

Well done to all the class and category winners – a full list of winners and prizes is here.  A full list of scores by category and class is here.

Massive thanks must go to everyone that supported ShootClay for this first event, there were just about 400 shooters at the ground over the two days, exceeding expectations and making the atmosphere electric, especially on Saturday night as we celebrated the winners with beers and food.

Special thanks to Blaser for supporting the event and sponsoring the door prize, Bremont Chronometers for sponsoring the High Gun Prize, Gamebore Cartridges for their support across all classes and categories, for their support of the Junior and Colt categories and Le Pondicherry for providing Champagne for all of the winners.

I must also thank EJ Churchill – especially Rob Fenwick and his team for their support and perfect staging of the competition. Mark Marshall and his team for setting and maintaining the course, and all of the referees and back room staff who made the day run smoothly.

I hope to see you again in 2015!

Alongside the Main Event

Congratulations also must go to Mark Fletcher, who won the stunning Blaser Luxus shotgun worth well over £6000 which was provided by Blaser and given away as a door prize.  A doubly fantastic prize, as Mark was the shooter who missed out on a prize in Dubai by not being available when his ticket was drawn!

Scott Greenfield took home the Dream Prize on the Extreme Pool shoot scoring 21 and winning a trip to a sporting event set up by our fantastic partners at EJ Churchill.
